About Us





DLA-Desheim Systems was founded in 2013 after merger of DLA Inc and Desheim Systems, Inc.


We specialize in the Design and Manufacturing of Intelligent (Smart) Oil Field Tools and developing new products, services and solutions to help oil drilling customers to optimize their performance in a safe and environmentally friendly manner and to reduce their cost of operations.


Our Technology Innovation activities focus on developing downhole alternative energy sources that allow online electronic monitoring of every potential producing formation in a well, developing less expensive methods to use energy of spent nuclear fuel as a heat source for producing heavy oil deposits.


We are developing novel methods for Online Electronic Production Monitoring at the oil and gas producing zone. Over the years, scientists and engineers at DLA- Desheim Systems have achieved many new technological innovations. As a result, we have recently applied for two US patents: No.62338331 and No.62338774.


Our company has the US (Alaska and Texas) and International Customers. Our small size allows us quickly adjust to customer’s needs and requirements.

Research



Our company is pursuing the research science for the following products and systems that do not currently exist in the Oil and Gas Industry. We are investigating the potential issues that would benefit not only the USA but the Oil and Gas Industry worldwide.


Downhole alternative energy source: Today 99% of the energy source used down hole is battery source. We would like to provide an alternative energy source that would permit on line electronic monitoring of every potential producing formation in a well, i.e., each zone of a multi frac completion or multiple zones in a single well.


Heavy Oil Production: Research the potential for using energy of spent nuclear fuel as a heat source for producing heavy oil deposits. Today those deposits are surface mines or produced by adding heat source from the surface to down hole to extract the oil production. This current method is extremely expensive and it may be possible to solve a major US problem of what to do with spent nuclear fuel.


Online electronic production monitoring at the Producing Zone: The Oil and Gas industry needs this capability to improve oil production and reduce the environmental impact in the disposing of unwanted non-petroleum fluids. With online monitoring at the Producing Zone utilizing developed by using the RA 2DIR we could provide major reduction in environmentall unwanted salt water. This can be done by controlling the liquid production from a reservoir such that you can reduce the pressure drop at the production point that reduces the inflow of fluids other than oil or gas. In addition, zones that are no longer productive or that produce too much unwanted fluid could be shut off with a valving mechanism at the zone producing the unwanted fluid.

Downhole Master Valve System

The Downhole Master Valve System is part of a Downhole Liquid Lifting System that can eliminate the need to kill the well with salt water or other weighted materials. When the downhole pump fails it must be removed from the well for repair. The Downhole Master Valve can be closed using formation fluids. Once the valve is closed the pump may be removed from the well, repaired and run back into the well to resume pumping. At a predetermined, calibrated pressure the Downhole Valve will automatically open and permit normal well production.

Elimination of kill fluids is a major environmental improvement, along with reduced formation damage and faster online production.



Downhole Commingle Completion System

The downhole commingle completion system is a system that satisfies government regulations for commingling production from two formations and produce them from a single wellbore. The system isolates the formations for individual production characteristics and permits both zones to be produced with a single pump. The system provides for a packer to be set between the formations and remotely controlled valve to be run below the ESP.

An automatic tubing separator is run below the commingle tool to permit commingle tool retrieval whenever the ESP is to be repaired and rerun. The commingle tool valve maybe incrementally opened to simulate a downhole adjustable choke. This will allow for selected production flows without having to budget a workover operation.



Multi Frac System

The Multi Frac System is designed to isolate multiple zones in production formation. Once the zones are isolated a sequential fracturing process can begin one zone at a time. The zones are fractured and sand packed by dropping various size balls to open fracturing ports.
